Annual pricing available?

Two months free on annual, on both products. Same storage tier or the same two computers. Billed upfront, with no surprise renewals.

What if I go over my storage?

We notify you and prompt the upgrade. There are no surprise overage charges and no locked galleries.

Can I downgrade?

Yes, at any time, and the bill adjusts on the next cycle. If you are above the new tier’s storage limit you get a grace period to remove photos or to stay at the current price.

Volume pricing for athletic departments?

The Volume tier starts at 2 TB and is on the calculator above, at $160/mo and then $40 per 500 GB. Past about 5 TB we will quote a negotiated rate rather than the published one, so reach out and we will size it with you.

Free trial?

14 days on either product, with a card on file and the full feature set. Cancel any time before it bills. There is no permanently free plan.

Why is GalleryID Desktop priced differently from GalleryID Cloud?

Because they cost different things to run. Cloud stores and serves your archive, so storage is what scales and it is the only line item: from $20/mo for 200 GB, with unlimited MatchID and unlimited users at any tier. Desktop runs on your own Mac or PC and uploads nothing, so there is no storage to bill and identification is unmetered. It is one flat price instead, $20/mo or $200/yr, and the subscription covers two computers. They are independent subscriptions and neither requires the other.

Why doesn’t GalleryID Desktop offer a perpetual license?

Because a perpetual license is perpetual for the camera and computer you owned the day you bought it. The typical policy in this category includes about a year of free updates; after that, the software keeps working only if your gear and OS stand still. Buy a new body and its RAW files may not open. GalleryID Desktop is $200/yr and always current: new camera formats, new OS versions, new features, no repurchase ladder. The subscription is not a payment plan. It is the update policy.

Does GalleryID train its model on my data?

No. The base MatchID model was trained on our own photographic archive, hundreds of thousands of sports photos, before any client uploaded a file. Your photos and rosters are not pooled, shared with other clients, or used to retrain our model.
