Delete Your GalleryID Account

This is the fastest way to delete your account. Available on both iOS and Android.

You can also delete individual galleries, photos, share links, upload links, and roster headshots from inside the app at any time without deleting your full account.

Email support@galleryid.ai from the email address tied to your GalleryID account. Use the subject line:

Account deletion request

We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 7 business days. You will receive an email confirmation when the deletion has been scheduled.

• Your user profile, display name, email, and authentication record
• All galleries, photos, and embedded XMP metadata owned by your account
• All face matches, face embeddings, and AWS Rekognition mappings
• All share links and upload links you created
• Roster categories, subcategories, people, and indexed headshots
• FTP and PhotoShelter export destinations
• Activity logs and notification preferences tied to your account
• Biometric credentials stored locally on your device

• Soft-deleted account record (30 days) — your account is held in a recoverable state for 30 days so the deletion can be cancelled if requested in error. After 30 days, the record is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
• Aggregated server logs (up to 90 days) — non-identifying request logs are retained for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.
• Billing records (as required by law) — invoices, tax records, and Stripe transaction records are retained as required by US tax law (typically 7 years).

If you scheduled a deletion by mistake, you can cancel it within the 30-day recovery window by signing in at galleryid.ai/login. You’ll see a prompt to reactivate your account. After 30 days the deletion is final and cannot be reversed.

When your account is deleted, any share links and upload links you created are deactivated immediately. People who received those links will no longer be able to view your galleries or upload photos.

Photos that other users downloaded before your deletion remain on their devices — we cannot reach into other people’s devices to remove copies they already saved.
